Ahoy!

I recently started up on a new illustration. Well, actually I picked back up on a really old on. I started this sketch last summer before I moved down to Atlanta. The sketchbook I drew it in is actually still in good old Michigan, so a screen grab I did of it a while back is the only thing I have to upload of it ha.

I lowered the opacity and printed the sketch out. After, I started to draw over the original and update the image. I try to focus more on reference and adding detail more so this time then just drawing what I think a pirate looks like. I think it helped out over all.There is still plenty to do on this illustration, but I'm looking forward to it.

Emmy Nomination!

Hello again! I have been very busy moving the last couple of weeks which has cause me to miss a few posts. I will start posting again next week. 

In other news, Archer has been nominated for a Emmy in Outstanding Animated Program this year! I feel very honor to be working with such great talented people over at Floyd County Productions. Thanks again for watching the show!
